Guest Facilities
Wanting to share the pleasures of living in a cob home, we have created an organic self-catering space , ideal for wholesome holiday accommodation in the beautiful city of Cape Town.
The guest accommodation, with its own private entrance, consists of a spacious double bedroom with ensuite shower and ablution facilities as well as its own kitchen. Linen, curtains, mattresses, towels etc. have all been made from natural and organic or recycled materials, wherever possible. There is access to an indigenous and water wise garden, watered from collected rainwater, and in the near future there will be off-street parking available.
Current special re-opening ratesin the all-new self-catering Chic Shack for 2018: R450 per person per night, i.e. R900 for two. Optional camper cot for a couple with a small child (no extra charge). There is an option for WiFi connection if needed, and the main house does have ADSL.
We also have a laundry service (using a water-saving machine with the grey water being recycled afterwards, and eco-friendly detergents), for a small additional charge. We can also sometimes organise guided tours of Cape attractions, with a creatively sustainable/ethical slant - see our Our Tours page.
On occasions, particularly during the South African school holidays, there is additional guest accommodation available. Please enquire.
