"I would highly recommend Simric Yarrow's tour guide services and the lovely Cob House. My 10 year old son and I stayed 3 days and wished we could have stayed longer. Simric tailored our visit to our interests and needs and budget. So many highlights ...the special hike to an ancient cave on Table Mountain for a picnic (local secret), a trip to see the penguins, a visit to an organic farm and cafe and also to a 'green building' project to learn about green approaches in the Cape - not to mention the green learning we had staying at their very comfortable mud cob house they built. It was great to meet the rest of the family too. Simric also helped us use local transport and take in activities, like a yoga class, and museum in the community. If we had stayed longer we would have loved to have gone to the beach that is within walking distance of the Cob House. Simric was " so knowledgeable and informative" , says my son, and was very flexible in helping us with transport when needed (and gave good advice and support regarding safety) so that we easily got in and out of Cape Town to enjoy many memorable and historic sites. I would recommend a week if possible - but even on a short visit it was perfect." - Helen Patterson, Canada, 2010
